Biography
Its a steep learning curve to get MYC4 to gain a sustainable altitude and support micro- and small business's in Africa - mistakes have been made and business model corrected. The journey continues and I will not stop:)

I love to work together with different kind of people and to create new solutions for us to move forward. Let's all join hands and find the solutions to eradicate poverty once and for all.

Kjaer Group has been an important part of my life. The company was founded in 1962 by my father Christian and supported always by my mother, Lis. It started as a local dealership for Renault in Svendbog. In 1977 a new path was set as my father sold a Renault 4 to a voulunteer going to Lusaka in Zambia and you can now nearly guess why Africa became part of me. I worked operationally in Kjaer Group from 1984 to 2006, te last 20 yeas as CEO and today I am the Chairman (none executive).

Its also here the new journey towards MYC4 started as we had decided to support the UNMDGs as part of our business. This is wherethe first thought of Care4Africa started and what became
C4 .

On the personal and private side; I am married to my beautiful soul mate Hanne who is a fantastic art painter and partner in my life.

We have two sons, Karl Kristian and Hans-Emil who both keeps us on the edge of new stuff and never a doll moment.

We live in
in
Svendborg and the world! Among others we have lived in Zimbabwe, Uganda and South Africa.

Travel around our globe has always been a family tradiotion and we areto both metropoles like, NY, Paris, London, Tokyo, Nairobi and Sydney as well as rivers, mountains and forests.

I love to be together with great people around the dinner table, a nice Pinot Noir and high spirits. The cooking s also high on my agenda andsupported by Hanne.

To keep in shape and have fun I play golf early in the morning, swim, snowboard and walk in the nature.

Crazy Project...
To have some fun, to get into shape and to increase the awareness in Denmark about the
UN MDGs my brother Søren and I participated in the East African Safary Classic rally in December 2005 and over the eight rally days we each day dedicated a day for each of the MDGs.

An awareness pole in Denmark following the event showed that the MDGs where now known to 25% of the Danish population against 6% in April 2005.
