The loan has given Tropical Diagnostics a new lease of life. The strategic location of the business, occasioned by the loan, has made the business more visible. Consequently, it has experienced considerable improvement sales turnover. These improvements are evident in the operating structure, particularly the customer profile. Previously it dealt principally with government hospitals, clinics and health posts. Currently the profile of its clientele includes private sector operators. The situation today attests to the fact that a little injection of capital can turn things around for the small scale entrepreneur.
Francis Yeboah, through the facility, has learnt a great deal managing borrowed funds. The realization that his reputation is at stake, prevailed upon him to exercise caution and manage the funds judiciously. Having successfully paid off, he thinks a repeat facility will refresh his skills and business. With the support of his accountant record keeping has been strictly adhered to.
On the domestic front, Francis Yeboah has indicated that the improvement in his business has positively impacted his household. Once his emoluments have increased, he has accordingly raised financial resources for the upkeep of his household.
