Mads Kjær, CEO and co-founder, Danish, mads@myc4.com
Mads has been working in Kjaer Group A/S since 1984 whereas the last 20 years as CEO and from August 2006 as the Chairman. Kjaer Group A/S has been awarded Denmark’s Best Workplace in 2003 and 2004 and between Europe’s 10 Best Workplaces in 2005. Mads has 25 years market experience from emerging countries and lived in Zimbabwe, Uganda, South Africa and is Consul. Flemming Eltang, CFO, Danishflemming@myc4.com
Flemming Eltang holds a Master Degree in Auditing and is a qualified Danish State Authorized Accountant. His work experience started with 10 years as an auditor followed by 7 years as Financial manager in 2 manufacturing companies and 12 years as CFO of Kjaer Group where he got extensive experience in working with Africa. This was followed by 2 years posting as General Director (CEO) of Nissan Vietnam in Hanoi. Lately he has been working as CFO and consultant for MYC4, its majority shareholder The Way Forward and an international logistic company. Besides he has been teaching Financial accounting and reporting at he University and over the last 10 years served as external non executive Board member of 4 different industrial companies.

Jes Colding, COO, Danishjes@myc4.com
Jes, who has a Masters in International Business, has been working 25 years as an international businessman before joining MYC4 in 2007 working in various functions till 2010 where he left to create his own consulting business within sustainable development finance. Between 2011 and 2014 he also acted as an advisor to MYC4 and from August 2014 he joined MYC4 again as COO. Jes has a keen interest in development issues and believes that business is the best driver to create growth and prosperity in any country around the world and has been working on sustainability and supply chain projects in Africa, Asia and South America. In his spare time he acts as a business advisor to small Danish companies and entrepreneurs.

There is no doubt in my mind that MYC4 responds to a very real need in Africa by allowing micro and small & medium size entrepreneurs to access the capital they need to grow their businesses. The need, also and in particular in rural areas, is enormous and MYC4 has the potential to make a real difference to so many people”.

Julius KasangaGeneral Manager, Kenyan,  julius@myc4.com 

Julius is a Banking and Finance professional with over nine years working experience in credit management, relationship management, banking operations, accounting, financial analysis and investments and business advisory. He worked with Cooperative Bank as a Relationship officer-SME, Jitegemee Trust as a monitoring and audit officer- credit, Vision group of Enterprises as Finance and Administration Officer. Prior to joining MYC4 he worked as a consultant with VAS Consultant. Julius holds a Bsc Degree in Agricultural Economics and an MBA with specialization in Finance. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Investment and Securities Analyst. Julius has also attained certifications in Project monitoring and Evaluation and Quality Management.

Dickson Momanyi, Finance and Administration Manager, Kenyan, dickson@myc4.com
Dickson is a Banking and Finance professional with more than ten years of professional experience in accounting & finance. Prior to joining MYC4, he served as a Financial Accountant and Analyst for Fusion Capital Ltd. (Uganda), a private equity firm that specializes in the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) sector in Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to this, Dickson was Financial Accountant for Growth Africa Limited in Kenya. He also worked as the Financial Manager at One Degree Solar. He has direct experience leading the creation of a full range financial systems and procedures for SMEs, Dickson is a Certified Public Accountant with an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance.

Bayollah Malesi, Receptionist, Kenyan, bayollah@myc4.com
Bayollah is an enthusiastic and cheerful young lady who comes from a humble background. She is self motivated and has a passion to help solve problems where required and ensure smooth running of daily operations. She joined MYC4 as the receptionist in January 2012 and has brought great input in the Nairobi office. Bayollah is an ambitious lady and would like to further education pursue a Diploma in Business Management so as to serve the organisation.

Niels Thuesen, Chairman
Niels has for more than 20 years been working with emerging markets from an investment perspective and has an extensive network related to professional investors. In relation to emerging markets, he has been architecting a Public Private Partnership related to stimulate the private sector in emerging markets. In he’s carrier he has extensive experience from managing and transforming companies in the growth faze from small companies to large companies, and managing financial investments.

Present, he holds a number of positions as board member and is involved in M&A activities and asset management through he’s own company. Furthermore, he is member of the advisory board to HE the president of Mozambique, where he is advising in how to develop the private sector.

For eleven years, from 1998 to 2008, he was CEO for BankInvest Group; an asset manager with specialized asset management teams dedicated to frontier markets and emerging markets (private equity, credits and listed stocks). Over that period, the company more that 20 doubled Net Profits to owners, more than 10 doubled Assets under Management and 5 doubled the number of employees.

For eight years, from 1990 to 1997, Niels was CIO and managing director (CIO and COO) for BankInvest Group and before that portfolio manager for the same company from 1987.

Steven Thomas
Steven has over 25 years experience working with technology, primarily in the financial sector. He is currently Chief Technology Officer at SMT Data - a Danish software development company that delivers IT Business Intelligence solutions. Steven was CTO and Deputy CEO at MYC4 from 2009-2011 where he played a key role in implementing the organizational and processes changes that significantly improved portfolio quality while also reducing MYC4's operational costs.

Steven's Positions prior to MYC4 include freelance management consulting, Executive Director for Program Management at Saxo Bank, and Vice President at Fidelity Information Services. Steven started his career with 19 years at IBM working with software development and database tools and methods - originally as a programmer, later as a consultant and then as a project manager and people manager.  Steven has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Stanford and a Bachelors degree in Psychology from University of Oregon.

Tim Vang
Tim has over 15 years of experience with establishing, shaping and growing (start-up) companies. Tim is Co-founder of MYC4 and before entering the MYC4 Board, he was Deputy CEO of MYC4. He is currently working in a myriad of companies using his disruptive approach and determination to help secure focus and growth. Prior 8 years to MYC4, Tim ran a consulting company delivering innovative solutions to customers around leadership. Tim started his career while doing his Master where he was Co-founder of SICEF (Scandinavian International Career & Education Fair), which today is among the most important Nordic graduate career fairs. Tim has a M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration (concentration in International Marketing and Management) from Copenhagen Business School.
